A book documenting the service design process
My partner and I used the power of storytelling to create a book that explains our process. For each chapter, we created separate infographics based on readings about service design. We interviewed several people to iteratively test prototypes of infographics until we arrived at one satisficing design that enabled people to understand our content. Each process of iteration is a chapter that explains what we did, as well as what that certain aspect of service design is, from ideation to implementation.
Take a look at for infographics you can print out to share with your team!
Show them
We simply showed our viewer the infographic and asked them to tell us what they understood.
Tell them
We briefly explained the infographic to the viewer and asked them to tell us what they understood.
Work with them
We create our infographic together with the viewer who understands the content already.
The interview process
To test the infographics, 3 different styles of interviewing were used based on different levels of involvement. This helped improve the design of the infographics and the final book
